NOM NOM Is Located In Versova Seven Bungalows New Link Road Near Banana Leaf One the best places to visit if you want to try the Pan Asian food
This place was on my wishlist since the longest time, and I finally visited it last weekend with my best friends for a casual supper! If you love Asian food, you must consider nomnom on a bright sunny day anytime! Flavours and presentation are great. The sushi is great! So are the drinks! Would highly recommend for anyone who wants good asian food and a nice ambience! Food is good with many unique option both for veg and non- veg lovers. Quantity served per dish is a lot and sufficient for two. However did not had a good experience with the staff. Staff is impolite and the does not explain menu and pricing properly. Overall a good place for asian food lovers.
What can I say about this place, loved the whole vibe. The interiors, the menu, food options, everything was great, brilliant service. Things I tried : Asian spinach and cottage cheese dim sum ( yummmm), Java lotus stem ( never thought lotus stems could be this good) and California dream sushi roll ( not a big sushi fan but I must say these were delicious Had a wonderful exprenice in nom nom,i heard about this place from my friends but never get chance to dine.wonderful, Awsome starter i had before, great to taste, its mix with messy sauce and vegetables, still the taste is there on my tounge
2-prawn tampura sushi
Well work by chef.perfectly cooked, prawns are very crispy, served with soya sauce, homemade wasabi, pickle ginger,
I tried wabasi in diffrent resturant but this was awsome
Starting with the food it tasted average not too special just extraordinary, ambience was soothing and goes well with the theme, service was very slow in terms of food delivery otherwise staff is polite and kind! Their outdoor seating doesn’t have any provision for mosquitoes at night. Looking for restaurants with Chinese cuisine around the area landed us to Nom Nom! Apprehensive reading mixed reviews, decided to actually try this place by ourselves and see what’s in store.
Starting with the Ambience, the restaurant is a mix of outdoor and AC section seating. You can choose your pick. The interiors are well done and the table and chair are comfortable to accommodate large or small groups.
Coming to the main - food. They have an extensive variety of food and options sound good. Decided to go with the Wanton triangles in a spicy sauce for the starters and the Pan fried noodles for the mains.
1. The Wanton in Spicy Sauce - It was something new for us and we were surprised that this dish turned out to be excellent. Fried wantons with exotic veggies mixed in a spicy day soy sauce served hot and fresh. The flavour of the sauce goes with the bland taste of the fried wanton sheets. Must have.
2. The Pan Fried Noodles - Went with the recommendation of the serving staff for this. It’s basically semi fried noodles with some gravy mixed with veggies. Tastes great to have some but eventually seems like an overdose of noodles - which is semi cooked! But all in all, you may try it once.
Didn’t get a chance to try more but sure on the list to repeat. It’s cause the food is good, ambience is soothing, and moreover the service is very good! The staff is well trained and they ask you for the feedback for every dish too.
