Blinken also said at a war council meeting that the Palestinians have ambitions and must accept them.

Netanyahu now has a clear proposal on the table from the US: "Cease fire and a Palestinian state" or a war on a regional scale that you will surely lose and the US won't be able to protect you.

 It is noted that the negotiations are taking place as part of US efforts to unite the Middle East region and build post-war plans for Gaza, which include concrete steps to create a Palestinian state.

 As the Associated Press news agency reported yesterday, Blinken managed to obtain commitments from many countries in the region to assist in the reconstruction and management of the Gaza Strip after the war.  

According to the American official, broader normalization of "Israeli-Arab" relations is still possible, but only if there is a "path to a Palestinian state."

This approach faces serious obstacles.  Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government is categorically opposed to the creation of a Palestinian state alongside Israel, and the autocratic, Western-backed Palestinian leadership is seen by many Palestinians as lacking legitimacy, the Associated Press notes.

The US plan now is to stop the war at all costs before it flares up with Hezbollah.  If the war continues, it is crystal clear to Washington that Israel will not survive, even if the US goes directly to war. 

The plan is now to offer the Palestinians an independent state, with a puppet prime minister like Abbas, who will be fully funded by Saudi Arabia and the UAE and, following the example of Jordan, will not allow outside influence from Iran.  

In this way, Washington plans to remove Iran from Israel's back.  

This would mean a great defeat for the Palestinians after the losses they suffered.  The Arab world is again being put in a humiliating situation in front of the United States.
